Suite for Dreamers (Streaming) – Walt & The Railroad’s Men
“Suite for Dreamers” (1979-1980) is an atmosphere composition in 4 parts (originally six), one of which is sung. There is an extensive use of electronic effects obtained largely from a self-made Synth and a reel tape recorder.
“Roana Village” (1983) is a musically descriptive piece that would like to highlight the poem written and recited by AnnaLisa and dedicated to the village of Roana, near Asiago (Italy).
“Liza” (1982) is a melodic piece played only by Walter with the rhythm part reproduced from a keyboard, using a slightly battered acoustic piano and other keyboards and testifies to a love which then shattered into a thousand pieces.
“Antico Cantore” (1987) is a meditative piece whose text, similar to a poem and written by Michele Montagnini, is however sung. The texts of the poems are both in Italian but English translations are provided on a digital booklet that is downloadable from the store when EP will be bought (in case of problem you may ask to us). The other songs are instrumental, recorded in the late 70’s;
“Nightmare and Joy” (1978) is part of a live improvisation with reminiscences of free-jazz and electronic music with a rock cadence at the end.
“Tribute to Andrew” (1977) is a repetitive and catchy song.
